Apparently, T-Mobile's recent greedy and anti-Un-carrier policies, along with moves from other carriers, have forced them to run another ( more numbers game). This time, the $400 is not a combination of Costco and T-Mobile rebates, instead, it is a single $300 or $400 virtual prepaid card from T-Mobile when you port your number over from the competition.
The Essentials plan ($100 plus taxes) will give you $300 per line. The 4-line plan for $170 will give you $400 per line for up to 4 lines, that is essentially 8 to 9 months of free service. And if you are able to snag an Insider Discount, it's an even better deal.
This deal also also stacks with the Keep & Switch promo. This is T-Mobile's standard switching promo that offers up to $800 back via rebate card to offset paying off your existing phone from your previous carrier.

This promo came last night, and as of right now, it seems Costco is still running its separate promotion. I am not sure if someone can get this T-Mobile promotion plus the $250 of the costco cash card, which would have made this deal a killer deal, but as of right now, it is not the case.

I had Tmobile 8 months ago. Can I still get into this promotion?

-> easiest will be using Visible/Tracfone group/ total wireless/ USM( only with darkstar and warp)
-> which is under verizon prepaid network and is considered in part of Verizon network carrier
-> Meaning, you have to keep service @ minimum 2month,
-> If in any reason if your rebate is being denied and resubmitted, its extra 6-8week again.

I have a T-Mobile ONE plan (2017) been with T-Mobile since voicestream on and off over the years.
Had an issue with my mother's phone who wasn't nearby and needed help remotely and she couldn't gain access to her device.
My sister has Go 5G plus or something.
We both call T-Mobile on our respective devices, say the same things to the robot, only she had a 6 minute wait and I waited 57 minutes.
We tried this a few more times and the trend remained the same.
T-Mobile has become Verizon.

I'm actually surprised that they are doing a limit of 2x promos on upgrades such as an iPhone vs the previous limit of 4.
So I'm a bit confused with Tmobile and future promos
