Apparently, T-Mobile's recent greedy and anti-Un-carrier policies, along with moves from other carriers, have forced them to run another ( more numbers game). This time, the $400 is not a combination of Costco and T-Mobile rebates, instead, it is a single $300 or $400 virtual prepaid card from T-Mobile when you port your number over from the competition.

The Essentials plan ($100 plus taxes) will give you $300 per line. The 4-line plan for $170 will give you $400 per line for up to 4 lines, that is essentially 8 to 9 months of free service. And if you are able to snag an Insider Discount, it's an even better deal.

This deal also also stacks with the Keep & Switch promo. This is T-Mobile's standard switching promo that offers up to $800 back via rebate card to offset paying off your existing phone from your previous carrier.

This promo came last night, and as of right now, it seems Costco is still running its separate promotion. I am not sure if someone can get this T-Mobile promotion plus the $250 of the costco cash card, which would have made this deal a killer deal, but as of right now, it is not the case.

So if I move 5 lines from Google fi to Tmobile I get $400 for EACH LINE for Better Value or Experience More plan?

I had Tmobile 8 months ago. Can I still get into this promotion?

Google Fi is not eligible because it uses the T-Mobile network. However, you can port it to a non-T-Mobile network and then back to T-Mobile, and you should be able to fine. And yes T-Mobile will consider you a new customer if you didn't have service with them last 90 days.

  1. T-mobile only consider you to be new customer when you were out from T-mo for 90-days to be elligible to be the new customer.
  2. You cannot be with any carrier under Tmo network, must be under carrier that uses AT&T and "Verizon network
-> easiest will be using Visible/Tracfone group/ total wireless/ USM( only with darkstar and warp)
-> which is under verizon prepaid network and is considered in part of Verizon network carrier
  3. $50 or up (Essential saver) is @ $300, $85 & $100 plan is for $400
  4. Gift card is issued within 6week to 8week
-> Meaning, you have to keep service @ minimum 2month,
-> If in any reason if your rebate is being denied and resubmitted, its extra 6-8week again.
  5. Its BYOD, so you cant get new phone
  6. if you have TMHI line, good luck, I am sick with having a so many questions, runaround, and all the shit from TMO customer service

T-Mobile is a joke. I left a year ago because I got tired of the constant wrong information, broken promises, and being overcharged for things that were supposed to be free. The final straw was them raising prices on legacy plans for everyone that were supposedly "price lock for life" bullshit. I'll pay the $400 myself just to never come back to these crooks.

You will never get the gift card. 5 months after the Internet rebate card, I'm still waiting and wasted countless calls following up

Do BBB and CFPB, their exec team send me the amount through e-deposit shortly after submitting complaint

No. There is no early termination fee or contract involved.

I don't know if this belongs here or not, but T-Mobile has become garbage in my own experience, from September 2025 on.

I have a T-Mobile ONE plan (2017) been with T-Mobile since voicestream on and off over the years.

Had an issue with my mother's phone who wasn't nearby and needed help remotely and she couldn't gain access to her device.

My sister has Go 5G plus or something.

We both call T-Mobile on our respective devices, say the same things to the robot, only she had a 6 minute wait and I waited 57 minutes.

We tried this a few more times and the trend remained the same.

T-Mobile has become Verizon.

Well, we knew this is going to happen when they bought Sprint and eliminate the competition. Thanks to our current government who approved that Monopoly after the previous administration blocked it multiple times.

You do know that Sprint was basically going backrupt and every single person that worked for Sprint would have lost their jobs if not for the Tmobile merge? Oh you don't know that? Just another person that spreads misinformation? Go off bbgirl

I can get temporary Verizon numbers to Port over. What's the best option to make the most return from this if I transfer four lines?

do you think a promo like this means better future promos?
I'm actually surprised that they are doing a limit of 2x promos on upgrades such as an iPhone vs the previous limit of 4.

So I'm a bit confused with Tmobile and future promos
