Great deal. Did Walmart delivery. Tip $10 cuz I ordered 6 pack of 12 can 12 oz soda. Walmart had rollback so the price was right with the soda. No markup when ordering from Walmart. Hardest part was trying to figure out what to maximize. I don't like to buy something for the sake of buying.

No, but that's the most common situation. if you've allowed a substitution, generally it's not going to change your total much, may even make it higher if the subbed item is more expensive.

When you say 'you lost the discount' did you allow the order to go just take place and bill out?

I can assure you today, I participated in this deal my self with an ALDI pick up order. Things were OOS with no subs allowed after the order was placed. I added nothing more to my order, items OOS were about $15, I paid $35ish charged to my CC versus $50. I was sent the final receipt showing all the math.
I have noticed that if you are doing pick you, your promo wont fall off but for delivery order your promo discount will be pulled out.

That could be it, I only do pick up orders with Instacart, and that is of course my examples in all my posts in this thread as the title is "PICK UP ORDERS"

Thanks everyone for the details. I will set up an order and make sure to tell the shopper that I must be at least at $100 for a special promo. Will be by the phone to make sure any subs or questions will be answered. Can always pick some dark chocolate bars...

As mentioned, this thread is about and titled GROCERY PICK UP orders, and I can only confirm the oos scenarios being discussed apply to PICK UP ORDERS only. Not any delivery scenario.

If the out of stock situation occurs AFTER you've placed and confirmed your order, while the shopper is gathering your products, something is OOS, it will be line itemed out. You may receive a text asking you to confirm the refund on that item. With my order today at ALDI I did NOT lose my $50 discount even though 2 or 3 things were OOS.

Was it delivery order? because previously that's what it seemed for pickup orders only

Anyone able to use the discount now? I tried using Costco but cant seem to find the promo.
I was able to use it at the Instacart through GrubHub. Just make sure the order total value is over $100 and the checkouts page you could see the discount I have ordered the protein powder and a couple of groceries.

Does anyone know if you are making a grocery order and an item isn't avail at all... Do you lose the $50 off?
Quote from jesterman :
I had this question too, if my total goes below $100, due to out of stock and no sub causing a refund, will that they cancel the promo as the new total is below $100 total?
Haven't tried via Grubhub+, but with Instacart directly, in my experience (with a delivery order) they cancel any promo discount if the total falls below the threshold. I ordered an item that was out of stock that got "refunded" that entailed me paying an extra $10 for fewer goods. Ended up canceling my account.

Great deal, wegmans pickup has little to no markup and I am getting my weekly grocery anyway so no extra purchases outside of what i regularly buy.

I had this offer, used it for Aldi. Had a separate offer ($30 off $75) in the Kroger app with free delivery. Easy grocery shopping this week!

Can confirm, my delivery order at Sprouts dropped below $100 due to item refunds. Luckily they still honored the $50 off

Does $10 credit at Costco works on Grubhub too since it's essentially Instacart platform ? Anyone knows ?
