I put it in an outbuilding and is my first try with a hybrid which can do a few cool things compared to my 12V charge controller + inverter setup. Didn't used to have power out there but have since trenched a line which brings up the hybrid part. I used to charge battery hopefully with 1200W solar but sometimes with ext cord overnight or in winter for cheap off-peak rates and discharge during peak manually swapping wires around. This does all that timing and switching for me and automatically pulls from solar, battery or grid depending on settings and time of day, no more alligator clamps and sparks. Runs my recalled Midea A/C unit that pulls 100-700W, 55" TV (60W), WiFi mesh, Echo and a few other small things at any given time as well as small hand tools that I don't have battery of like oscillating tool, soldering iron and such. Oh, I started the snowblower last month no problem.
The fans are noticable but not loud and it puts out a clean sine. So far, so good. I took pics of the guts before I did my install if anyone wants I can find when I get home. Pretty clean inside, some glue stringies but that's normal - no loose bolts or wires on the ones that looked important enough to test. I check pricing on fans because if a mfgr is going to skimp on fans they're skimping everywhere! Fans were ~$10 at AliExpress and more elsewhere - that's my litmus test and I'm stickin' to it, don't ask me about the nightmare of $30K servers beeping away because of 39c fans... Anyway, a good deal especially if a person has 24V batts handy (or 2x12V like me). I was looking at a Vevor with similar specs when this one came about but that was over $300 at the time.

One other question: what triggers the fans kicking on? Will they cycle on occasionally, or only under a specific load/temp?
One 2kw inverter I have kicks on at 1000w load and another 2kw kicks on at around 600w. Trying to find a quieter option out there.
Giandel 24v 4kw inverter I'm looking at (twice the price as this and inverter only) claims fans will kick on at 1200w load.
Junbpaw inverters are supposed to be nice and quiet, but they're a bit expensive as well.
