This portable steam sauna is a compact at home steam setup that gets hot fast and can deliver a strong sweat for far less than a full sauna. Setup is simple, and the unit can be satisfying for regular steam sessions when used with distilled water and dried out after each use. The main drawbacks are its bulky footprint, awkward hose placement, and ongoing cleaning and drying chores. Mold, residue, rust, and even melting or cracking parts are all reported concerns, so it works best if you are diligent about maintenance and returns.
The steam sauna can be easy to set up and use while still delivering a hot steam session.
The included cleaning approach can be manageable, including vinegar gel spray wiping and air-drying overnight.
The older model can keep working for extended use when stored properly and kept dry.
The unit can seal properly and the steamer can work without sealing issues reported in some reviews.
The unit can develop mold or residue if cleaning and drying are not very diligent.
The steam sauna can be very space-consuming and awkward to place due to the back tubing port.
The plastic lid and inner tube in the water reservoir can melt within weeks of use.
The metal water reservoir can rust after limited use.
