So what do you do with the dead batteries after 4 years or so?

Nice find. I haven't seen this entry level backpack blower this low in a while. Some of my thoughts copied from the H chainsaw thread:
• Husqvarna offers an extended 5-year consumer warranty if you buy a short gallon of their overpriced, branded pre-mixed fuel on the same receipt at your tool. https://www.husqvarna.com/us/disc...-warranty/
• Only use ethanol-free fuel. Ethanol related damage is not covered under warranty. They check.
• It's been my experience that Husqvarnas are reliable and very easy to get parts for and work on when needed. They're meant to be cared for, used and serviced for decades, not disposed of and replaced every time something goes wrong like a "value" brand. Buying them on sale is always appreciated.

Wait until you find out how dirty lithium mining and the batteries that end up in landfills leaching into ground water etc.

Consider going battery-powered/electric. Gas leaf blowers are terrible for the environment and extremely annoying to your neighbors.
Can't compare the power.

are you kidding me? think before you type. first off battery powered blowers are terrible, give you minimal run time (you better have multiple batteries charging and full, ready to go), think about how those batteries are made, and where do you dump those lithium batteries when they are dead? do some more research on lithium before you come claiming "tree hugging" mentality. unreal 😆

I doubt anyone needs any more encouragement to pull the trigger, but I've had mine 12 years with zero issues. It has so much power. It has more power at idle than a lot of the older battery-powered blowers. And, 12 years later I'm still waiting for battery-powered alternatives to be able to match it, and I just got the newest Dewalt 60V blower (DCBL777B) - still can't compete. You'll love it.

Chill out, dude. Nothing this guy said was controversial or "tree hugging". If you have a small yard and close neighbors, an electric blower can be completely sufficient and overall easier to maintain. Not everyone needs a high performance gas blower. Batteries can be charged many many times and can also be recycled. You can only use a gallon of gas once.

Is the 270 mph correct? I see $500 model with 890 cfm 232 mph. Numbers or mph doesn't make sense to me
