This is a budget electric dirt bike that feels more like a small electric motorcycle, with strong torque, adjustable speed modes, and a tunable VOTOL EM85 controller. Build reports point to solid fun and decent suspension, with enough room for larger riders and a frame serial number for registration. The main drawbacks are rough quality control, loose or damaged hardware, loud operation, mushy or missing front brake setup, and a top speed that may be lower than advertised. It also raises serious legality concerns in many places, so it is best suited to off road use where local rules allow it.

I got one for riding on country property.

Thank you for those who added to the discussion instead of vomiting their opinions of why no one should own one.

Did some research on various chinese e dirt bikes of around this size, and checked used listing this seems to be the best price even searching various chinese e-commerce stores. Even tried using a vpn changing to CA and UK, for better prices. Ordered with no shipping issues, as of yet.

If you want something a a little nicer the next tier would be the valtinsu em-5 on Alibaba. Seems to be a better bike, but you'll be paying >$350 more depending on exact shipping quote.

Happy riding folks, and hope all the HOA folks are able to unstick something and enjoy life.

News: "Kitchen knife killed someone. Mother is getting charged for her son using kitchen knife" You: "DO NOT BUY KITCHEN KNIFE, unless you are a certified Chef in a restaurant" Key point: Do not get discouraged from buying wonderful products because of an accident. People are going to be people. E-bikes are easily one of the best things to become massively available. No need to wait at stop lights, no gas. I bet you can get to the same place at the same time as a car (within 5 to 10 miles) or even faster in heavy traffic areas with an e-bike. They are wonderful
I would agree with you normally, but this happened near me as well. This kid had a history of hitting people with his electric motorcycle. He was cited so many times that the police not only warned the mother that the next time he was cited she would be responsible and charged with gross negligence and a possible felony... but here's the kicker, they knew the son was such a problem, andcthe mother would not listen, they recorded her signing a paper acknowledging that she understood what would happen if he was caught riding again. They recorded her signing on their body cams.

I need this for my work commute! (I live 5 mins normal drive from work) ive been looking at electric modes to save gas, its an hour walk lol. Used a 19mph scooter once and it cuts it to like 15 minutes so this would be much better!

Depending where you live, you'll bring less attention to yourself on a faster scooter than this. You can get scooters that do 43mph with suspension for around this price too.

Preventing young people from participating in technology driven activities is not the rite decision do you really think telling young people they are not allowed to have fun with all their friends and not allowed to do what their friends are doing is going to stop them from doing it no they will do it behind their parents back and those will be the kids that end up getting into accidents and hurting someone because they did not have someone to teach them how to ride responsibly and safely.
It's amazing that people still think the best thing to do is not teach their children how to become an adult

In Pennsylvania, Class 4 electric bikes (exceeding 20-28 mph or >750W) are generally not considered standard bicycles and are classified as "Motor-Driven Cycles". They require registration, insurance, and a valid license to be operated legally on public roads, and they are typically prohibited on non-motorized trails and sidewalks.
Sux for you, kids in Montana ride around on ATV's in city streets w no helmet...
