I never use magsafe charging in a car, only slow USB charging. Quite often the phone is in direct light plus I'm using GPS. Magsafe charging combined with those other two factors is just too much heat.

I think there are/were places like Fakespot who would try to determine if the reviews were accurate/real, but for me it was just scrolling through and reading the reviews on this one

Does this work on leather dashboards? My SUV has an entire leather dash and I've been annoyed at trying to find something that sticks/clamps on without damaging the leather.

I have ordered many Lisen products the last few years. Every single one has been damaged or completely unusable. They commonly sell returned products as new on Amazon. The last one I ordered was this as it was scratched up very bad and covered in what appeared to be dog hair. I would be very cautious purchasing their products.
