I have had this for 2 seasons now and it's awesome. This thing is the hardest pool worker. Unlike the USPS, it performs rain or a shine.

Regardless of the unit, I would suggest the warranty. You can even buy a refurb with warranty and save even more money.

Does a decent job cleaning surface

For those who don't know, it only skims surface

As mentioned it can get stuck primarily at skimmer locations

Same. 2 or 3 years, works great. Not powerful enough to fight the pump, so we just don't use it when we need to use the pump.

I'm on my 3rd year. I put a piece of pool noodle in front of my skimmer and it bounces off without getting stuck.
