Didn't that happen like a decade ago, back in 2016. At this point you have a whole generation who grew up on and like the changed version, and honestly the Underwood stuff is a ripoff and also not as good as the original Huy Fong Sriracha.

Pro Tip: if you want to reduce microplastic consumption, get spicy foods/ingredients/condiments in glass containers when possible. Plastic + acidic(ity) = higher concentrations of plastic leeching.

Then you'll have to deal with rusty metal caps, so pick your poison.

its not the same.
I grew up with the OG on a regular basis as a kitchen staple and this new formulation is a lot more tame not as spicy. It has more garlic flavor than before.
It was probably re-formulated to appeal to a wider customer base since it really took off during the 2010's. I actually appreciate the new flavor since I love garlic.
But man, I miss that spicy kick the OG had.

I put it on ramen, eggs, sandwitches, bahn mi etc.

Iron ingestion is the lesser of two evils against plastic.

its not crazy terrible and I haven't been able to find a better alternative.
I stick with it because its close enough.
Its like the refugees got with the program and are living the American business dream LOL 🤣🤣
Just water it down and sugar coat it. I've got such a strangle hold of this market people don't have any choice. Reminds me of John Deere

True, bc they bit the hand that fed them. It doesn't use the original peppers. Check out the YT video on how they screwed over their supplier.

Good sauce, but it's $3.49 at some grocery stores. That's their default price.
