It has data lines, so I imagine so.

Good timing OP my wife just broke similar cable from LISEN, so no matter how thick these are they those end points are still the most vulnerable.

Did it last longer than normal or the same amount of time?

I have these and do not recommend them. These cables are really unique in that both ends have an adapter to them to change the type c to type a or lightning; you can get multiple other cables for far cheaper without the adapter gimmick. They charge and have data and the adapters work, but you have to be careful about the endpoints. They're quite large and bulky because they're made of metal and they just hang off the hinge there if you're not using the adapter (like using the type c instead of the lightning). I've had them break multiple glass screen protectors on my phones in the past by not being careful placing the phone down hard or having the phone fall a short distance (less than 1 ft) to a hard floor. The metal parts can hit the screens at bad angles that cracks the screens. Luckily for me, each time it broke something, it was a glass screen protector and they were still under warranty.
