Yeah you need to keep crocs and other similar flip flops out of the hot sun for long hours or else they shrink. Just an FYI for anyone else.

I own these. My toes are fine. The problem is the plastic tends to stretch and they get very loose. I've regulated them to the pool and beach because of this. Otherwise I have to scrunch my toes together to keep them on while walking long distances.
