Best non-"new egg flash sale"/"microcenter" deal on this card in a very long time.

The RX9070 OC version is also on sale for sun $600 (if you don't care about the 10% performance increase with large power overhead and added cost)

I'm looking to upgrade my old r9 390 but have limited space in my case. So basically: the RX9070 OC is a bit lighter weight in terms of performance but draws less power? Looking for something that'll run pretty quiet when it's not under a heavy load, the fan control on my 390 makes it basically run like a jet engine constantly. Thanks!

The great thing about the Reaper is that it is one of the only (or the only?) 2 slot designs in the 9070 series. You can always reduce the power limit on the 9070 XT. You can't shave the extra 1/2 of slot of width off the Gigabyte card (it's 2.5 slots). I'm not sure if the Gigabyte card is like the Sapphire ones, but it might share bandwidth across the 2x HDMI ports.

Thanks for that help. I ended up going with the Reaper XT--not so much concerned about the price, but the rest of my system is a little dated (750w power supply might be stretched), don't want it to bottleneck too much. Probably due for a refresh on processor/motherboard at some point...
