Gildan "Heavy Cotton" is not as heavy as Gildan "Ultra Cotton" or Hanes "Beefy Cotton". The "Heavy Cotton" shirts were 2 for $4 a few months ago.

I don't mind "Heavy Cotton" in the summer - it's a a little cooler. But Ultra Cotton is great in shoulder seasons and as a layer in winter.
The different is 5.3oz vs 6oz per sq m of fabric.
