Went to an event today in WV arrived around 930. Got my battery and coupon no problem. 3 other people came to the desk when I was there. They set up at the lumber end near the pro desk. They were all in DeWalt shirts (maybe they have a DeWalt event as well?)

I think there is some mix up on the start time. I called the store yesterday (infuriating ai gatekeeper btw) and the Lowe's employee I talked to said their info sheet said 7am-2pm. The rep told me they were fairly busy already when I got there so I guess people are just showing up hoping they set up early. Not sure if it's true at all locations but the rep told me they bring 20 batteries per event but if they dont all get claimed they carry over to the next event. Try to get there early, but no promises when it actually starts.

thats pretty good. would be great if they did BOGO on tools only - would mind getting one battery and 2 tools for $50 (more in the ryobi system but having a couple of these tools wb great)

Great, yep I met him at the Mill Creek Lowe's, received the battery and he was on his way to Snohomish to presumably meet you. I had been eyeing the pruning tool for a bit so I used the coupon to purchase that. :-)

Battery turned in wont matter. They just had a cardboard box. Rep didn't examine my battery at all.

Im having no luck using coupon online on that $99 battery bundle + free tool. Any advice?
