The "Verizon/Carrier" Version: Sold by Verizon, Spectrum, and Visibile. These have a encrypted bootloader that cannot be unlocked by the user.
I say "No" to bootloader-locked phones, even if the phones are given to me for free.

I have a Spectrum bought 10 Pro and the bootloader is unlocked. I've also unlocked the bootloader from previous Spectrum bought Pixels, the 9 Pro and 8 Pro.
However, the bootloader was not unlockable on a Visible bought Pixel 9a I got.

S26+ is significantly better. The only thing 10 pro has going for it is marginally better camera processing.

Sharing this here as well:
https://www.spectrum.com/cp/inter...ith-mobile

Spectrum offers $50/month for the "gig internet + mobile" service, which gives you Gigabit internet +modem/router (for home) + 1 free line of Mobile service for 12 months. No catch. I've been using this for 4-5 months and service has been great for me (home internet), spectrum mobile is a bit iffy, but its totally free and will let you use the deal in OP.

Pixel 10 Pro is locked to Spectrum for 60 days and then they'll unlock it for free.
For 60 day unlock, Do you know if the phone needs to be within the US network to be unlocked or will it also work outside the US?

Hardware-wise sure, but Samsung software is cancer.

I decided to test it out for cheap through mint mobile, and I cannot take samsung's BS. Im perfectly happy using a pixel or iphone, but I just dont understand how people deal with the OS.

I lasted about a week before I went back to my iphone.

Did you get a low budget model and expected a flagship performance?

The crazy thing is that they will give me $432 for my Pixel 8a if I trade up to a Pro 10, but only $132 if I trade up to a Pro 10 XL. I'd prefer the XL with 256GB of memory because I keep filling up my storage. The 10 pro is only available with 128GB of storage.

I have both 9 pro and 26+, and in all honesty, I'm not sure what is so cancerous about Samsung's OS.

Even crazier, the price is the same for both the 10 and the 10 Pro XL with their current offers -

I would have been happy to spend the extra couple hundred on the XL (for the larger size screen), the storage would've been a bonus but not necessary, but the price gap in the trade in killed it for me!

So serious question.. what do people use the storage for on a phone?

I take photos and videos, download apps, edit stuff and generally have 50GB+ free

I go through a ton of storage on a PC but not really a phone
I got 128GB Pixel 10s for my whole family with that free with any trade in offer from T-Mobile and they're all now complaining about the storage and it hasn't even been a half year of ownership yet. The Android OS and system files which are required take up 30GB, so you really start out with 98GBs out of the box. My streaming, shopping, social media, banking, home automation, and Google apps take up 55GBs, and that's after me having to curate which apps I wanted to from my previous Samsung device. So now I'm left micro managing 30GBs of storage like back in the late 90's with my first PC, or when I had my 5th Gen iPod Video in high school. Now my teens are having to relive the experience with the 128GB Pixel 10 lol

because to spectrum pixel 8a is only worth 32 + the 400 bonus for the 10 pro.
