Blower seems good enough for dry leaves (not wet leaves), if you leave it blowing high it shuts down to cool down? Weed wacker is good enough for weeds but not small trees, ergonomics seem good. I have other Kobalt 24v tools so it makes sense for me to get this. One thing to know before buying into the Kobalt system is some of the tools are switching suppliers from Chervon (perceived as very good) to Greenworks (perceived as ok). This set might be made by Greenworks, looks like most of the outdoor stuff is now.

How is this compared to the one Costco selling combo 80v greenworks for 250. I bought the Costco but debating if I should go with this.

I've used this set for a few years and it's really solid at this price... no quality issues at all. The 24v tools will not have the same power as a gas or 48v tool, but foe most average homeowners it's not a problem. If you have thick weeds to trim then I'd definitely go with a 48v tool. This 24v kobalt blower is pretty good, too. For the price I don't think you'll find a better deal, unless you wait until Black Friday.
