I know getting it direct via AMC plus might be better if there were a credit card cashback offer, etc., but I couldn't find one.

I'd rather have gotten the one through Amazon because AMC's app (at leas on Apple TV) has a much lower bitrate/video quality than the offering through Amazon's channel.

or you have to get a separate amc app on your tv anyway - to watch your year.
