It's just comments from people trying to get their daily post in for the giveaway section. Ever since they updated the app, there's been a bunch of "good deal," "great deal," "perfect deal," etc... meaningless junk posts all over the place just to get the extra 50 tickets.

It's for the best.

It's ideal to just stick to the deal postings and ignore all the BS engagement campaigns and marketing games they're trying to pull.

Exactly. The craven execs are going to milk this once-beloved site dry with these games to artificially inflate their numbers and KPIs.

"Bed shaker" is a stretch...its just a bouncing plastic disk as far as I can tell.

My grandmother bought me one when I was in highschool for the same reason. Worked great. Took it with me to university and my roommate smashed it the first weekend I wasn't there. Doesn't survive tbeing thrown against a brick wall, so only 4 stars.

I bet McKinsey was hired to take a look at how to revamp things at slickdeals and this is part of the changes being implemented LOL it seems like it when you think of the numbers and KPIs that the giveaways inflate like you mentioned

Ah KPIs, when metrics and reality don't align.

We had something like this and it did not work for our teen, wasn't shure if it was a lack of motivation. We did under mattress but someone above mentioned under the pillow which we did not try.

That's a nice price for such an alarm clock for sure but I grew up using Sonic Alert. Maybe a good backup or for travel.

I'd put a piece of thin wood board underneath that covers where my pillow is to make the whole thing vibrate when I didn't have a box spring. I toss and turn a lot and sleep on my front so that makes it easier for the shaker to get knocked around.

Nah I'm pretty sure they're just bots trying to prop up Slickdeals sponsored posts. These aren't ordinary accounts randomly posting comments to get entries to giveaways, they're almost exclusively new accounts that only post this stuff and they don't do it every day as you would expect from people trying to win free stuff every day, it's very sporadic and seemingly random.
