I understand its not for everybody so YMMV but if you already have a Flex plan or planning to get one, Google Fi has a great deal if you signup or add a new line on their Flex plan, you get Samsung Galaxy s26 or s26+ for free + tax over 24 months via bill credit. Its great because flex is $20/month if you don't need data.

$35 x 24 months is $840 so it's NOT free. and that's if you don't use any data + expect another $10ish in taxes so end cost will be around $1000! Also, check your title

Based on my understanding, the final bill without any credits would be around $101 plus $10–$20 in taxes. Even if I don't use any data, the minimum bill would still be about $110.

After applying the credits, the bill comes down to approximately $66.87. So overall, the monthly cost would still be around $45–$50 even with minimal usage. Over 2 years, that totals roughly $1,100, which doesn't seem like a good deal to me.

the flex plan for one line is $20/month ... so you'll be paying $20/month + taxes. You can turn off data on your phone as soon as you get it. Phone is free after credit.

Still a good deal. Especially if you use group pay and are on the other unlimited plans

Exactly ! I have an MVNO also running on T-Mobile ..$25 unlimited capped at 50gb HS

Why would I wanna jump on and lock myself on the pricier plans on Fi...the overpriced plans are paying for the "free " phone

I am not sure why it's so hard to comprehend for most .

Or maybe people do understand they just want that shiny new phone

I love fi,Tmobile towers. Plus you carry your plan abroad, so international data is built into the plan.

Same. People are just dumb or regurgitate false info they got from someone else. I pay $113 with taxes/fees for 4 basic unlimited line and the service is fine. Unlike other T-Mobile MVNOs, your data don't get deprioritized either.

I pay around 26$ per month inclusive of taxes (no data) if you don't use data it costs you 10$ per month more considering you can get a line at 15$ without data. cost for phone is then around 240$(10$ x 24) plus phone sales tax.
Not a bad deal for a person who don't need data.
