Price is decent but make sure you understand the purpose of this tool

I wish they would drop the price of the tool only too. At this price, I guess I'll take the extra batteries...even though I don't need them

I'm glad you said this because I honestly don't. How is this any better than using a socket adapter for my drill or driver?

Is it possible to return the batteries for a price reduction?

This is actually a great tool when you need it got a lot of torque where you can't use an impact wrench I have used it many times I would buy this but I already have a couple of these tools and a lot of batteries

This is so true.
I use mine for bolts in building decks. Much better and more accurate than what i used to use... the adaptor on a drill.

I just bought the extended reach version model PBLRC25B from Direct Tools Outlet which should arrive any day now. I'm curious if this version would have any benefit over the extended version. Or would it be worth having both for any reason?

Looks like the extended without battery goes for 169 at HD: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../316631068

Total $120 after tax with a free shipping offer. For some reason I'm not able to find it now on their site.

Remember it's just the tool without a battery or charger. We have plenty of batteries already, though.

Does anyone know if this deal is "hackable" (where the batteries or the tool can be returned for a partial refund, reducing the total cost spent on just the parts desired)

I bought this tool years ago and returned it. Use a $30 avidpower wrench instead. The reason is the battery budge. Inherently this is a tool that will be inferior to others due to battery shape.

This deal is now $10 less ($89) but it is not hackable.

I posted a similar question in an another Ryobi ratchet thread but does anyone recommend this kit or the 2-tool ratchet kit (https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../335505558 tools only, no batteries) over the PCL280 (https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI...23337327)?
