I recently purchased the 4 pack of these from a prior deal. I'm extremely disappointed in them and I'll be returning them, which is a giant pain in the @ss because I now have to go climb a ladder to take them all down. The issue I'm having is the motion detection and event recording, which is the whole reason for a security camera (YOU HAD ONE JOB!). Motion detection range is less than 20 ft, maybe 15. Even set at the highest sensitivity settings, it has missed picking up on a man that walks on the road in front of our gate with his dog every morning. He's walks in the detection area, 25-30 ft away from cam, so it makes no sense. The camera picks up on *some* vehicles passing by but most of the recordings start with the vehicle already having driven by or 3/4 of the way gone. There is ZERO event pre-recording like we had with other camera systems. But most aggravating of all is the recording length, which cannot be set or adjusted in the app apparently... it's only 7-10 seconds, and it will stop mid-event! What good is a security camera that stops recording while there is still motion? If you're looking for security cameras that you simply want to monitor yourself live, these are you for you. If you need some that serve the purposes of actual security, don't waste your time. I'll be posting the above as my amazon review shortly.
