This is a good unit. I have it with the adapter pipe and flat head nozzle (helps focus the air somewhat tighter). I got it as part of the blower/trimmer combo so not sure if this is a good price (the trimmer is not that good).

I got a Chinese knock-off of the Makita blower for $50 five months ago that's been working surprisingly well and certainly good enough. HEINPRO Cordless Leaf Blower. Up to 500CFM. Compatible with Makita 18V battery. 5 Speed, well-balanced, descent quality plastic.

I did the same thing, it's honestly pretty decent for 50-60 bucks. And it's makita teal so you can barely tell it's not real lol I just couldn't justify 2.5x the price to blow dirt off patio and steps

Great blower, but a 4.0 battery will last about 20 minutes. Wish I had the contour tip others spoke of.
