Walmart has always worked for me in the past
Ditto. I've done more than 5 Mobil 1 rebates with Walmart receipts over several years (1 per year). Got all of them.

Where are you getting the datapoint that they reject online orders? User error submitting wrong receipts or clear full receipts? Non-participating online retailers?

I have successfully done many submissions for Mobil rebates using online purchases from Walmart.
Aw crap, I just submitted an online order and printed the receipt. I've done many rebates with store receipts but never tried using online receipt. I wonder if I should cancel the order and go to the store to buy one.

Mobil 1 is really good about honoring rebates including online orders. If you're are concerned, you can always call them at 1-866-895-9127.

I don't think you will have any issues. I was responding to another person's post regarding issues with online receipts; I have NOT had any issues with mine in the past.

Extended performance is supposed to have higher molybdenum and zinc/phosphorus levels than standard Mobil 1. But I wouldn't extend my oil changes because of it. 5,000 mile oil changes will avoid any loss of lubricity for almost any brand of synthetic whether from a Group 3 source or the better Group 4 and 5 sources.
Other than that, Toyota recommends 5w-20 or 5w-30 in most other countries except the U.S. where they went with the higher fuel economy thinner oil.
In my older Tacoma, it's 5w on the label under the hood. In the same engine on newer models, everything is 0w-20.
I go with the original 5w, still using 5,000 mile changes.
Thank you for the response!

If purchasing two 5-quarts on one receipt, do we get $20 (2 * $10 rebate)? Or need to be on separate receipt?
Yes, look at https://imgur.com/a/JQN6Bcp
I don't think separate receipt is needed from what I read, you can submit single receipt and select you bought it 2 x 5 quarts (upto 4 is limit) at rebate submission page

To confirm, I can buy 2 5qt M1 in the same transaction? Or do they have to be separate transactions?
From what I have read, you can submit single receipt/transaction, just click you bought 2 at rebate submission page

Select two
Customers can get one cup for every five quarts purchased.

I successfully got the Pennzoil rebate online a few years ago, hoping this one goes through smoothly as well.
IIRC it took a few weeks for the (digital) rebate to be approved and delivered via Email FWIW.
Haven't done a rebate with Mobil 1 , but just hoping it works the same.
I had $4 Walmart cash available + $4 walmart cash back rebate so it was really a slickdeal. THX

could you provide the link where you are seeing this? From the link provided by OP I am not seeing any limitations as to where it can be purchased from to qualify.
Scroll down to where all the check boxes are, and click terms and conditions (on mobile at least)

I agree with the other response regarding the extended performance part. As to the high mileage part, high mileage oil has seal conditioners that soften and expand seals. I would not use that unless you have some leaking / seepage already. If you don't need it yet I would not use it.
In my experience I was just a "Normie" average joe and always used Mobil 1 High milage (all my cars were over 100k)
NEVER had any oil leaks (valve cover, rear main seal, front crank seal).
TBH I just read the label stated "For cars 75k miles and up" and never failed me. (all honda vehicles)

My last high milage vehicle 2002 honda acord 4cyl I got from my sister in early 2015 with ~160k I exclusively put High Mileage full Syn oil and changed it every 5k miles. Before that was a 1999 Civic coupe EX with 230k miles No leaks. Owned it for 6 years.

In 2020 my neice got the accord with 230k miles and not a single drop, not even a trace of potential oil leakage anywhere. She drove it for 3 more years with Gawd knows what oil and it still wasn't leaking + never burned any oil either. She totalled it in 2023.

I truly believe It was prevention instead of cure.

After that many miles and heating/cooling cycles the seals are bound to be failing already, they may not just be visibly leaking, but still degrading nonetheless.
