Excellent combo, wish it came with a 5.0 instead of the 2.5 battery, for the blower, trimmer part. But still a great deal !

One of the best outdoor tool combos I've used so far. I've owned Ryobi and Kobalt equipment before, but the EGO POWER+ combo is on another level. The string trimmer has plenty of power, the blower moves leaves with ease, and the 21" self propelled mower makes cutting the lawn almost effortless.

The longer my Honda gas mower lasts, the more irritated I am that I'd be beholden to proprietary batteries in any electric mower setup. Mower is at 14 year mark and there's just no way in heck any of these batteries from any brand are going to last even close.

On the other hand, I really don't want to be beholden to gas companies to keep my stuff working. I have some solar panels so I'd be able to charge all these things off the sun... until the batteries give out eventually.

I feel like I can't win.

Does everyone else just nod and would rather feed the Ego instead of Shell companies? Do I just have analysis paralysis?

To each their own. I switched about 8 years ago with one of these combos, and still using the same 2 batteries. They have maybe 70%ish capacity now, but never have to go get gas or do the maintenance I used to.

My Honda mower is at least 30 years old and just keeps running. It's the last thing I own that runs on gas. I bought an Ego 2 years ago. It is just is easier to use. No pulling a rope several times to get it to start. No buying gas or doing oil changes. It's lighter, so more maneuverable and quieter.

I'm not worried about the batteries.

I have this exact combo. Each tool works well, batteries charge relatively fast, and the batteries work with all the tools. I only wish it came with 2 big chargers--it usually takes 2 attempts to mow & trim both front lawns and 1/3 acre backyard

i am very tempted to purchase this combo deal but i hate the fact that they use a plastic deck. rocks and roots or other objects are inevitable and i would hate to have it crack.

Same. I bought my ego blower, mower, and trimmer 8 years ago this week. I also since bought a snow blower, edger, and hedger in the few years after to get additional cheap batteries on combo deals. All of my batteries still work, the oldest 2.5 aH ones die quickly when using turbo only on the blower, but they still work perfectly in the all of my other tools. I'm going to grab the deal on the leaf blower with 2 batteries so I don't have to bring my blower back and forth to our cabin anymore and hopefully those 2 batteries keep me going for another 8 years.
