Excellent combo, wish it came with a 5.0 instead of the 2.5 battery, for the blower, trimmer part. But still a great deal !

One of the best outdoor tool combos I've used so far. I've owned Ryobi and Kobalt equipment before, but the EGO POWER+ combo is on another level. The string trimmer has plenty of power, the blower moves leaves with ease, and the 21" self propelled mower makes cutting the lawn almost effortless. Battery life has been impressive too — enough to get everything done without constantly swapping batteries. Build quality feels solid and premium compared to other brands I've tried. Definitely worth the investment if you want reliable cordless lawn equipment.

The longer my Honda gas mower lasts, the more irritated I am that I'd be beholden to proprietary batteries in any electric mower setup. Mower is at 14 year mark and there's just no way in heck any of these batteries from any brand are going to last even close.

On the other hand, I really don't want to be beholden to gas companies to keep my stuff working. I have some solar panels so I'd be able to charge all these things off the sun... until the batteries give out eventually.

I feel like I can't win.

Does everyone else just nod and would rather feed the Ego instead of Shell companies? Do I just have analysis paralysis?

To each their own. I switched about 8 years ago with one of these combos, and still using the same 2 batteries. They have maybe 70%ish capacity now, but never have to go get gas or do the maintenance I used to.

My Honda mower is at least 30 years old and just keeps running. It's the last thing I own that runs on gas. I bought an Ego 2 years ago. It is just is easier to use. No pulling a rope several times to get it to start. No buying gas or doing oil changes. It's lighter, so more maneuverable and quieter.

I'm not worried about the batteries.
