I know you don't HAVE to tip, but isn't that kind of a downside compared to prime?

Community Reviews

Walmart Express Delivery is framed as a fast option for groceries and other delivery orders, with same day or next day shipping available on many nonperishables when a local store carries them. It can also help avoid the $35 minimum by pairing a small item with grocery add ons, and Walmart Plus or InHome can remove tipping or use screened Walmart employees. The main drawbacks are frequent cancellations, limited hours, and promo codes or the $10 charge sometimes failing to apply. It feels most useful when speed matters and the local store can actually fulfill the order.

Amazon returns are way easier than Walmart, at least in my area
For sure! We can go to a Staples, Kohls, UPS BOX, The UPS Store, Amazon Locker and etc.

I don't know. I had it for a year. So much stuff I wanted to order didn't qualify for free shipping.
I totally agree! I spend time finding stuff I need and like half of the items are pickup only and there's no Walmart anywhere around here. That's why I don't subscribe to Walmart+ anymore.

A lot of Walmart returns can be returned the same way they're delivered, with spark drivers. Or even curbside returns.

walmart uses spark drivers to "ship" their same day orders.without tips the payrate is abysmal and walmart just undercut drivers even more by m,ixing their non tipped orders with their tipped orders, which effectively uses customers tips as bribes to move their merchandise.the result has been less than desirable for customers who tip as now their ordes just sit there for much longer until either the lowball payrate that walmart pays increases enough to cover driver expenses and time, or there is a large enough tip to incentivise a driver to take their order and the driver is willing to gamble that they dont get tip baited. As a driver, its time to move on from that platform until walmart respects its drivers.
Idk who has been downvoting all these comments. First of all, spark drivers can't cancel your orders. We can accept or reject them and then they're reassigned to another driver. With gas prices $5 in my area, I will not accept an order that's less than $1/mile round trip. And I won't accept orders with a lot of big items or multiple cases of water. Walmart batches good tippers with the "free shipping" orders so they'll send us 30 miles out of the way to deliver someone's toothpaste or some dumb crap. Walmart pays us $7 for 1, $8 for 2, and $9 for 3 grocery deliveries and adds a few bucks for 2-4 online merch orders. Half the time the store shops your order and spark delivers it with other peoples orders. Some of you people don't understand that if you don't tip you're going to get bottom of the barrel drivers or you just won't get your order delivered because it is not worth our time/gas. I've seen giant orders get delivered to massive houses with little to no tips at all. Also, the stores run out of items all the time, delivery drivers have no control over this. If your item is OOS it's going to be substituted or marked unavailable. You are saving time not having to drive to the store and then shop for all your crap. Tip your drivers or stop crying.

if you join the InHome addition for $40/year they will never cancel deliveries and you never tipbecause it's real walmart employees and not side-gig delivery drivershttps://www.walmart.com/help/arti...71c28e0c38
Thanks for this I didn't know it existed. I always tip and have never had an issue with a delivery and justified it because when I grocery shop I always end up buying things I hadn't planned on. I probably average one order per month tipping $5-$10 so this would save me some money.

It says "Promo code applied" but never takes off the $10 charge. Doesn't work.

Walmart+ includes paramount or peacock. The only time I watch prime is some basketball games, the boys, and fallout.

Not in my areas! I have yet to be able to return something other than an extra trip to the damn store!

I have had similar issues with walmart+. An order is only available for free shipping(as opposed to delivery from store where you need to tip) if there is a delivery order in my area. But since you don't tip with a free shipping order, it often gets cancelled.
That's exactly what my experience has been!
