I have the same ones in a different colour and they've lasted years. I should note though that I bought one pair of these grey ones a year or so ago from a third-party seller and it wasn't actually the described item that they sent, they sent one with a cinched bottom at the legs. So, I think it's possible that a lot of the negative reviews came from third-party sellers. These ones are actually sold by Amazon.

You're right, just looked at the ones that came from Amazon and they are 60/40. The 100% cotton description came from the Amazon title, sorry for the error.
