I have had a different model of Epson Supertank (ET-3760) for several years, so I can't speak to the features, if any, that are unique to this model. All I can say is I am very happy with the ink tank vs buying ink cartridges way too often on my previous Epson printers.

All I suggest is that you print a test page at least once a week (printatestpage.com has a great one, better than the standard Windows test page). If you do that religiously (set up a reminder in Alexa or your phone calendar), you will never have to do a printer cleaning which uses a LOT of ink. If you don't print something for several weeks, you can bet ink will dry in the print mechanism and one (or more) cleaning cycles will be necessary.

Good call out on the regular printing. I loved my epson ink tank printer but it went in storage for 6 months during a move and I could never get the colors working again. Still prints black and white at least.

You may have already tried this, but one or more deep cleanings may do the trick. They use a ton of ink each, but they do a lot more than the normal cleaning. I started doing the regular test page prints after being forced to do a deep cleaning one time and I've never regretted it.
