Compared to the other offerings from other companies, this is a great price. I haven't seen sales like this on the others.
They still seem to be fairly high cost but are very well-built.
The Packout container has far less storage than I assumed. The battery compartment can't store much of anything; the battery takes up all the space, especially if you use the larger batteries. If it had a side-mounted battery with a little cover I think it could reclaim half the battery compartment space. However, due to the annoying M12 battery release design, I doubt they could unless the batteries didn't clip in.
The Rocket light does not lock at various heights. You have to extend one or both rods to raise it. That's fine for 99% of my uses, I'm sure. It only stays up with friction, so don't be afraid to sort of slam it open and bump it purposefully to close. This seems like an odd choice to me, but it works.
The lights on both are bright enough for me to work on the single-story part of my house at night.
The Rocket is far larger to store than I expected.
Last night I ran out of time on my 2.0Ah battery in the Rocket. I didn't time it, but it wasn't two hours, I don't think. That's the longest I've used it at once and I was surprised it didn't last longer. Again, it was only a 2.0 battery.
Overall, I like these. For the cost, if you want a robust set, are already using Packout, and/or have M12 batteries, these are nice. Both could be a little better, but they're rugged and this is a good/fair cost for them.

It's best used with XC batteries, preferably 4.0 it higher for best run times, but the quoted run times from Milwaukee aren't what users are seeing from the respective batterys used. Not a deal breaker to me, but something to bear in mind.
That said, FWIW, I run mine using generic unbranded M12 6.0Ah battery packs and get maybe 2-3 hours on the high setting. With a fresh Milwaukee equivalent I've seen people say to expect 6 hours max on a 6.0 battery. Would not use any battery less than 3.0Ah or rectangle bottomed unless you're in a pinch and don't need light for more than a half hour.
Lastly, never had any issues with the friction locking mechanism nor sections that self dropped out unless I myself didn't lock them properly to begin with.
