This is more a question about the site itself than this specific deal.

One or two years ago I tried to purchase from them several times. I used different cards, different browsers, and even made sure the checkout form wasn't auto‑filled. Every single time, the order was cancelled shortly after being placed. Support never gave any reasonable explanation.

I've never had this kind of issue with other sites, so I eventually just gave up - and I'm still puzzled.

Anyone else run into this?

Maybe you were lucky. I placed an order with them and a shipping label was created and my card was charged. After a week, I noticed that it was still sitting at the original shipping location. There was no movement with the shipping. I contacted DirectTools and they told me the item was cancelled for being out of stock. I asked why I wasn't notified and why my credit card was charged. They said sometimes it happens. They said I was going to get a refund but never got it. I had to file with my credit card company. I never had problems with them before.

Interesting… that was my impression too. When I asked them anything payment‑related, it felt like they treated that department as a 'black box', almost like a completely separate company they had zero visibility into.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

I've ordered twice from them, one was DOA and they wouldn't refund and another was in terrible condition.

I have ordered through them many times although not as often the past few years because they raised the shipping to $14.99 for most items. Used to be $7.99 ie half that. The wait was typically 2-3 weeks which I thought was absurd. Overall I have been satisfied with them and their prices are still much better than the box store. Typically factory blemish means brand new but it is a loophole in the Home Depot Contact with Ryobi stating only Home Depot can sell new Ryobi Tools. With that being said I just placed a small order last week with them as shipping was free (promo) and saved 1/2 from purchasing through Home Depot. I also noticed the payment now is through Shopify rather than by DTO. Lastly, my product is already shipped which is huge compared to past years shipping times.

These is a great little portable vacuum! It had two power modes and easy to dump the waste! I also have the model previous to this one which is nice also but a tad bigger! No disappointments from me.
