Next, I have a small issue with comparing Visible to Tmobile, especially when Tmobile has created Mint Mobile and for Verizon to compete with Mint Mobile, Verizon created Visible. I don't know how long you have been locked into your plan at Tmobile... But Mint Mobile offers 20GB of blazing fast hotspot and it comes out of your 50GB monthly allowance.

Right now it comes down to cost... service and benefits. And I will only talk about the cheapest yearly promotions 180 vs 225.

Mint Mobile (180 plus taxes) is cheaper by about $25 vs Visible $225 when on sale.
Mint or Tmobile is the faster network in most places but you should know which service is better due to where you live. Visible is very stong on travel, you get 24 days but Mint Mobile addons are very cheap. Minternational Pass ($20) covers 10-Day Pass ($20): Includes 10GB of data, 500 talk minutes, and 500 texts. I think if you travel less then 24 days international (not including Canada and Mexico) then Visible is better but if you are out of the country for like 3 months... and you want full serive, then the 10 day pass for 20 dollars is much cheaper. Lastly, Mint limits you to 50GB of data at high speed, Visible has no true cap... I personally never hit more than 35GB a month in my life but i have high speed internet at home but if you need more then 50GB of data a month then Mint is not an option for you.

I will add that there are prepaid carriers that offer Amazon deal... not just the big two. I also like US mobile and if I also think it may be the best for international travel at $299 per year.

thanks for sharing this too. I tested out visible for a week and seems solid and have truly uncapped limits on data is great. But I haven't surpassed 50GB a month yet, so I guess it would't hurt to try mint out for a while and try to save $45 a year

If you are counting pennies... which I have done ALL MY LIFE!!! You need to factor in international travel besides Canada and Mexico which are always included.

When I went on a cruise, it really came in handy when we spent a day in Belize and a day in Honduras. But that was only two days.

You also need to factor in taxes and fees. Mint Mobile charges this but it is included within Visible's fee. That's why I say there is only like a $25 difference between the two.

As far as I am concerned... but Tmobile and Verizion networks are acceptable.

One of our phones is a 11 Pro Max iPhone that only receives 4G cellular.
Would this be an issue with switching to Visible?
In my home recently the best I could do was a signal strength of one bar. When I complained they said it was a tower issue and sent me a signal booster device that connects to my wifi, since then no issues at home.

A free years ago they screwed up and lost my number. I had to get a new phone number after I tried for weeks for them to recover my original. Verizon prepaid is the better deal here.

Visible is pretty great. Even its trial was immensely useful. My anecdote is that my internet was down for a week from a cut line in the neighborhood, I needed a solution and used Visible's trial, it gave unlimited (but reduced speed) hotspot for a two week trial. Worked flawlessly, I would not hesitate to use their service should I need hotspot access in the future. So so so clutch, have to praise them for that.
