I have had visible service for over six months. Overall, it's good service, but it slows down significantly in busy areas. I live in NYC, and the 5G connection often drops in the subway, with no connection at other stations—it's the worst. However, I have no issues while driving in Queens and Long Island. The Globe Pass was one of the best experiences I had; it worked seamlessly everywhere in Japan. In fact, it was better than my experience in NYC, lol.

2+ years of Visible. No issues whatsoever. In December they offered $225 for a full year of highest package option. How could anyone turn that down? I know I didn't.

I was on the middle plan before upgrading to Pro during last year's $225 deal. I've observed no difference in service.

And their chat support is absolutely horrendous from my experience. They kept screwing me around for a week transferring over from Tmobile, cost me around $100 because it bled into another billing cycle there, and eventually refused to finish the port. Moved all our lines over to US Mobile and was shocked at how efficient, friendly and competent US Mobile was and has been. They have phone support, and they've always picked up within under 5 minutes. Only downside is a little pricier than Visible and watch service costs extra, but on the plus you have choice of all 3 major carriers. In my dealings with both Visible and Verizon they have both proven themselves repeatedly to not be interested in new business, so I do my best to make sure I and any friends avoid them like the plague. (I actually use Verizon for service via US Mobile, but don't have to deal with Verizon the company which suits me fine).

That outsourced, web chat-only support can be a MAJOR issue in some cases. Their agents are located in the Philippines (according to one of those agents), their internal network goes down semi-regularly (meaning you'll be randomly disconnected or they will put you on hold indefinitely until it's fixed), their English proficiency is often limited, and their knowledge/training leaves a LOT to be desired. For instance, one agent insisted that a Samsung Galaxy S25 doesn't support eSIM while another insisted that Visible is not related to Verizon in any way nor does it use Verizon's towers/service -- all of which every employee should know is obscenely false.

When things go right, they're great since it's all using Verizon's service. But it can quickly turn into a nightmare if you actually need customer service for something beyond the basics. Of course, that's how Verizon offers plans this cheap via this sub-brand.

is there a real need to talk to someone in person or on the phone for support nowadays? I currently have verizon and haven't had the need to do that in the last 15 years lol

yes there is no difference in service. only difference is that your hotspot speed is a tad faster on the highest plan
