I've owned this tire before and everything was good with it. Great price.

Same. Going strong 3rd year. Better than cooper on another car that are going bald.

Cheaping out on the only thing keeping you and your 3000+lb car from hurting yourself and others is not the best idea...

I thought I was supposed to be the one keeping my car from hurting myself? Guess I had it wrong all this time.

A perfectly fine tire for a sedan/wagon. Does improve gas mileage by 1-2mpg on a hybrid vehicle. But don't expect it to last more that 20k miles.

Driver is definitely the most important factor. If someone felt these weren't safe, they could always pay a little more for a Goodyear or something. I think some people drive really dangerously and hope their tires are good enough, but they're sometimes the weakest link because lack of care, worn-down, poor quality tread and they crash. Those stories make a big impact for people worried about safety, but in the end, it's hard to point to one factor. I'd only add there have been deaths from tires like the Firestone-Ford Explorer thing, and it took them years to uncover it. Good luck with these cheap tires!

What about brake pads? Brake lines? Floor mats?

No matter what tire you buy, check your tire tread with a quarter.

I feel like every time I buy cheap Chinese tires I regret it. They usually have terrible road grip and handling and don't last very long anyways.

As a mechanic the biggest issue I see all the time, cheap aftermarket air freshener tress. You think they are all the same and look the same. But hang a cheap one from your rear view mirror and BAM! Swings to much, pulls on the mirror, etc... just tragic.

Don't buy cheap tires. I know money matters to like 90% of us but tires are not something you buy off brand for.
