For $20, this seems like an easy purchase for power outages / emergency or portable lighting. And the usb-c port is a bonus.

40v batt are so expensive, I save it for power things.

For lights and fans, I use the 18v.

That's exactly the reason I bought this and the topper fan. Between my ryobi 40v mower, chainsaw, and blower, I've ended up with three 40v 6ah batteries and two 4ah ones. This is a perfect way to be able to utilize those in a power outage. Between the lighting, the fan, and the usb c's. These could be quite helpful.
