These are junk. The pin that holds the cutting blade in place frequently fails and the blade then moves so much afterwards it's functionally useless. I've had 3 replaced under warranty from my original purchase years ago and they've all failed in exactly the same fashion.

If you're dead-set on fiskars, these have been decent: Fiskar's Forged Pruners [fiskars.com]

Otherwise, join the "buy once, cry once" crowd and get a pair of Felco pruners.

My wife bought a pair of Felco's about 15 years ago and they're still in nice shape.

Clean and oil the blade, and it'll literally last you a lifetime.

Buy only American made ! no chaina made, it might look the same but it's junk.
