They have repeatedly extended this deal so I wouldn't be surprised if they do it again and again and again. They can certainly do much better.

Sure they can. But WILL they? 175 a few months ago was the best price lately. $2 more per month isn't bad but I do wish it was the 175.

That deal was tmo network only and prior ones were att only at least with these newer ones it's any network and they extended premium so there may be some value there if it matters to the user.

doesnt matter what network. they provided the bottom signal service. my text or mms cant hardly send nor receive. voice quality is like speaking in aircan. sometimes. the msg sat there for months going nowhere. all these happened on the most reliable iphones

Really? I have zero issues in rural Oklahoma on T-Mobile and ATT networks. Verizon is another story.

Did you try switching to another network? It's highly dependent on which of the Big 3 companies has coverage in your area

That's interesting because Verizon used to be the king of rural connectivity. I am in suburban and urban areas with the Verizon SIM with zero issues - identical to the rest of my family that is on Verizon Postpaid. I did have good experience with Google Fi (T-Mobile) before going to USM, and it was great for international travel. But Google Fi has top priority with data compared to USM.

No it is fairly easy, I ported out last month via chat. However, if you saw last month's Visible deal that was far better than this. You get Unlimited Priority Verizon data + smartwatch plan + unlimited hotspot data + 24 days' worth of their global passes for the year. Combine that with another cashback site and you essentially get what USM offers at 299 for $185. Visible is good but as with all networks it depends on the area. I was previously on Dark Star via USM and they were pretty crappy for a few months until they upgraded their towers last year and then it became pretty good. Verizon is a bit slower in DFW but still good enough.

Back on topic, this price sucks. Wait for black friday, and then for whatever hair crawls up the ceo's ass. The reality is there is 1 carrier that works best wherever you live. The rest is a backup plan. And this company is AT&T centric. As in, all the free data and bells and whistles only work if your primary number is on AT&T. If AT&T is amazing top tits in your area, this is the mvno for you. Otherwise, visible pro plus for Verizon, and Mint mobile for T-mobile.

Current US Mobile user here [on Android]. Third party messaging apps recently stopped working on US Mobile, regardless of which of the three options you choose on US Mobile.
RCS messages will no longer be delivered to third party apps if you use US Mobile.
Mint for example, still delivers RCS as SMS - so carriers other than US Mobile still allow you to use third party messaging apps. US Mobile only fully works with Google messaging app, and no other app you may be using to customize things....
US Mobile confirmed this when asked, but made no official announcement - meaning you're missing messages if you're not using Google Messaging. I tested other carrier SIM cards and RCS still gets through to third party messaging apps (as SMS).
On US Mobile RCS messages only get through to Google Messaging app.

If I'm on Verizon now and switch to USM Warp on the Unlimited Premium, is the service the same? We have a 5G UW tower right up the street and enjoy superfast cellular data...if on Warp, will the data be the same or is USM somehow less Verizon than real Verizon?
