QNED: Quantum dot NanoCell with Mini LED backlighting

Basically, a QLED TV with better viewing angles.

And better colors. I use the 43" model (which doesn't have the mini LED but does have the other QNED features) as a PC monitor, and it's terrific even for video editing.

I have never posted here (long time lurker) but felt compelled to do so after seeing this post. I have this TV (70A Model) and it is the worst purchase ever. The picture has "vertical banding"(lighter and darker areas every 8" from left to right going top to bottom). I have owned it since Dec 2025. Purchased 86" from Sam's Club for $699 on sale. I reported the picture issue to Sam's but was outside the 90 day return and so I dealt with LG warranty. They are refusing to address the issue. They say it is "characteristic of this model". I have a ton of photos to share here but don't know how. It's truly horrible. I just want to save someone the hassle of going through what I did. I am now stuck with this TV. I tried to escalate the issue with LG and their customer service has been impossible. I tried social media and nothing. Just left here to deal with it. I am happy to share images if anyone could let me know how.

Maybe you got a defective unit. How about buy another one at Sam's and if better return old one with new receipt.
