Fandango is giving out free $5 Mortal Kombat 2 movie ticket codes for the selected Fandango At Home purchases. There are currently six movie and tv series that are $5. They are:

Thanks OP. Was planning on seeing it this afternoon anyway, so bought season 2 of the MK Legacy series that I was missing. Got code less than five minutes after purchase. Only downside is that you're still taxed full amount of ticket, and can't combine with other promos, so I couldn't apply the $10 promo code from the other Fandango Summer Pass offer. Still saved a few bucks rounding out my MK collection at least.

Couple times Fandango expired the movie codes early, with one time sending you codes that already expired. I believed that happened to Takoma20. Couple times the movie included in the promo didn't give you the movie code. The last time something went wrong was for Conjuring 4. I did had lawyer working on a case, but he found out the number of people scammed and the total amount involved was too small to form a class action.

The most recent promo like this one was for Wuthering Heights, and that one worked without an issue.

The method Fandango CSR deployed to handle the issue would make you want to shoot them. One time I was given the expired codes. I contacted Fandango (movie ticketing). They blamed FandangoAtHome saying they were the one in charge of the promotion, that Fandango is only handling movie ticketing. This went back and forth few times, eventually I got both of them on a 3-way call. Eventually FandangoAtHome issued a case number. When I was able to get hold of them again, they told me that the promo ended and there is nothing they can do.

Not to comment on the deal itself but I did watch MK2. It was enjoyable. Lots of fan service done well. It captures the essence of the game, fatalities look earned. It has some vibes of the OG 90s films but done with modern day visual polish. Most characters feel extremely well cast, imo. Lots of newbies who were "just checking an action film out" were not prepared for the gore. I hope the visuals made them wanna play the games.

Its nota perfect film, but it's a jolly good time. It's also funny where its warranted. Not super stoked about Johnny Cage casting, or even Raiden for that matter (I've always seen Raiden as some next level "don't fk with him" sorta dude)

I'm really looking forward for them to somehow adapt the resurrection of Shinok

I enjoyed the movie a lot, so much so that I watched it twice. Was going for the third before Fandango killed the $14 off IMAX ticket promo in minutes. I thought every character was well cast, particularly Karl Urban. He was serious unlike the video games where he was goofy, but he was funny in his own way. Unfortunately the movie went through many many edits, and I knew what was going to happen because the leak revealed that several characters had very little role (Cole Young for example) and the movie was focused on Kitana and Cage. Raiden got more screen time than what most characters received. I had no problem with that. Jax and Cole got plenty of time in the first movie, it's good that other characters got more attention. I've heard the complaints that it deviates too much from the video game. I would say that if it follows the video game plot, it would be terrible. Every animated film and TV series deviated quite a bit from the video game storyline. The cut director decided on was flawless IMO. I love the twist on the chosen one. Adeline Rudolph was hot. One complaint is that many characters got killed off, but I'm sure the third movie which I'm really looking forward to will fix the problem. Would love to see Kuai Liang, Bi-Han, and Hanzo getting some attention next time.

I've never seen so many people that want something for nothing.because if your errr going to see mortal Kombat 2 anyway it's a good deal AMC Tuesday discount there tickets as well.Then just buy one of the cheaper films like enter the dragon or one of the other cheaper films and your only paying 3-4 bucks for a good to decent film.

Not just Tuesday. AMC expanded the discount so both Tuesday and Wednesday are the same discounted prices.

Most people probably have Enter the Dragon already.
