the costco version fixed some of the 1st edition issues with hard to reach corners. we have ours on the counter near the sink so we slide it over and use the nozzle to fill and run through hot water "rinse" cycle. Comes apparat easy then soapy water in the sink.
When not in use we stuff some paper towels in side and leave the fill lid open to ensure no moisture is trapped.

This is not the max model. Ninja makes 2 bigger sizes- 128 oz and the new 150 oz.

we have this model and are also a family of 5, it works well and as long as everyone isn't hoping for a Big Gulp size slushi it works out great.
we use it several times a week, especially to make juice slushi's for breakfast

I'd love one of these, but I just don't have enough counter space and my "gadget closet" is at capacity.

Gosh I want one of these, but every time I go to push the button I ask myself if I'd ever use it enough or if it would get the same attention my ice cream machine gets 😂
