They are good all general running shoes. I have been using one for thelast 4 months- 450 miles so far. Foam is at the end of life by now. Not sure about the one you mentioned

Rebels are lighter weight. So 1080 foam feels denser, upper is thicker and more luxurious feeling. Rebels are nice spongy foam as well but lighter, more basic upper to keep weight down. For walking or slow running, many prefer 1080s which should be more durable. For quicker paces, rebels.

Around 500 miles is good enough. My question was more related to comfort but next comment explains that

I have used 1080 v13 and v14. I have went through 2 V14s. They are a really good daily running shoes. Not a great shoe for a work out but great for your daily runs.
