Maybe, maybe not. People complain about the price when it's Made in USA but when it's Made in China, no matter how much cheaper price is, they complain just the same. Just can't win......

I got my first set of Klein tools in 2004. they're still my most used tools to this day. Their diagonal cutters are my favorite hand tool of all time—I abuse them and they're still holding up 20 years later. My brand new Wera laser etched Philips stripped out after 50 screws and so I replaced it with a Klein. BIFL tools for sure

These are still some of my favorite screwdrivers. They made me think the brand was more premium than it is. They have quite a few other decent tools but of all of them, their screw drivers are the best of their lot. They hold up longer than anything else I've used and I prefer this style grip over the triangular ones even if you can't quite get as much torque on them.

When you strip out a screw using those cheap drivers on your electrical panel, the professional you call to fix it will probably be using Kleins.

There is some pride in reaching for your "best" tool in your tool box for special jobs. Like reaching for your Snap On ratchet for doing a brake job on your vintage Mustang. It just "feels" better. Maybe because it released a bit of dopamine in your brain. Hard to describe, but the feeling is real. Electricians have taken pride in their Kline tools for a really long time. Cheap tools have their place though.

Replacing my rounded over slot craftsman screwdrivers from the 80's, these kleins are crisp and strong. It's only the price of 7 gallons of gas lol
