JLab Go Pop ANC earbuds are being praised as a cheap, simple pair that can punch above their price, with solid sound for music, customizable controls, and ANC that feels useful. They also seem durable, hold battery well, and work across phones and PCs, with replacement support described as easy if they fail. The main drawbacks are call quality, which is reported as weak or muffled, and some units have muddy audio, slow mode switching, or finicky app changes. A budget pick with a few tradeoffs.
Common Questions (5)
Sound quality is often described as good or even excellent for the price, with some preferring the sound profile over AirPods. A few users report weak bass, muddy audio, or very poor overall sound, so they are best if you want a budget pair and are not chasing premium tuning.
ANC is described as a nice upgrade and seems good for the price. Pass-through mode can add static or air noise in the background, and the noise-canceling mode may switch slowly.
Call quality is inconsistent: some use them for calls with no complaints, but others report muffled audio or that the other side could barely hear them. They may be fine for casual calls, but they are not a safe pick if clear microphone performance is important.
The controls are customizable, which is especially useful for one-ear listening, but the app changes reportedly do not always stick and the default commands can remain active. Button presses also have a delay and the tone can interrupt playback.
Yes. The case reportedly uses a tiny built-in USB-C male cable and no separate USB port, so it must hang from a charger or plug into a power bank. That design can be convenient, but if the cable breaks, charging may be a problem.

Call quality:
I can hear, but other side has trouble. My audio comes muffled.
Case:
Hard plastic. Not bad, but not good either. More personal preference. But there is a tiny charging cable built into the case. No other USB port. Just this male USB C cable. So either it hangs from a little brick on a wall, or you have to only plug this in to power banks. Pretty annoying. And if that cable breaks that's it for these.
Controls:
Controls are touch. I don't like the default commands. Also there is a delayed reaction in button presses, and the tone that comes in interrupts whatever you're listening to.
App:
App lets you change controls. But updated controls don't stick. Stays on default. So useless. App also doesn't let you turn off tones for button presses. Switching to noise cancellation or any mode is slow. Pass through mode has has static/air noise in the background while on.
Overall I can see why the price dropped on these. Wish there was a more comprehensive review earlier
