The only movie I've ever walked out of in my life and I've watched some bad movies.
If you're into artsy modern slow burn films, you'll likely enjoy this. Or if youve had an adult gummy.
If however you are expecting anything like the 1980s classic Excalibur with action, wizards, knights and just normal Arthurian legend, you will absolutely hate this movie. From unexplained random naked giants walking through mid film, to the two male knights love scene to just the slow pace and dark shots(as in the movie is so dark you can't see much of anything for half of it).
A lot of people liked this film and that's great, but if you're wanting action or anything sticking somewhat on the trail, this isn't it. I highly suggest you stream before you buy.

I remember seeing the trailers for this during COVID. I'm assuming it's pretty meh as it's fallen off the face of the earth

I found this movie to be a wonderful adaptation of the old Arthurian legend and re-watchable over and over.

I learned the original tale in school and was eager to see a good film adaptation. What a thrill this movie is! Highly recommended!

Is this where Martin Lawrence goes back in time?

Meh. Watched it once. Don't feel the need to ever see it again.

While I enjoy a slow burn movie, this sounds like the opposite of how I want to spend a couple hours. Thanks for the insightful warning.

This bears almost no resemblance to the original story, besides being just as rotten as you might expect from Hollywood today.

Sword of the Valiant (1984) is a better movie and slightly more true to the story.

With it being called the Green Knight, I was expecting a Batman/Captain Planet crossover. Guess not.

I remember seeing this when it was somewhat recent and thinking the movie was very different from what I expected. Not necessarily the worst, but don't go in expecting a typical movie.

Should put a disclaimer on the movie, may cause drowsiness.
