I can't speak to this deal specifically, but I just paid $60 for an X27 on Amazon. This thing cuts like butter.

If you have some cord wood to split, these are great. We'll made and sharpen easily. Solid bargain at this price.

I bought this to replace my X27 that was stolen off my rig. It's too small IMO.

It shows $70. What would be a good all around axe to remove stumps?

Showing $55 here. Maybe I'm too late to the party.

Do you mind sharing which store (or city/state) you are referring to? I'm in SoCal and the closest store is 40 miles away. I am very reluctant to try my luck like that, knowing that gas itself costs me $20.

Lucky me. I saw this deal about month late but I clicked on the link and sure enough, it said that the local store had one in stock for $17.99. I headed over and fortunately, I saw the last one left so I grabbed it. I asked the lady behind the counter to price check it and it did ring up at $17.99. I walked out of there with a $70 axe and it only cost me $20! Thanks OP.
