I picked this up for 199 earlier this year from Amazon and it's a really nice TV for the price. I dont use the fire tv - but it was a bit faster than other fire TV's i've used in the past (but I'd just pick up an Onn 4k box for $20.) The screen is bright, picture quality excellent -- movies, tv both look great and it plays games well for the specs. If you're looking for a cheap 55" QLED -this is by far the best option i've seen in person.

My Onn 4k Plus and my Insignia QF 55 inch are fighting each other (not sure if you're experiencing the same). The remote has a hard time distinguishing between the TV's FireOS and the box's Google TV OS. I can't get the input button to sync with the TV. The TV is not recognized as an Insignia or as a Fire TV. When I try to use the voice control, it switches from the Onn Box to the Fire TV. Someone had mentioned in another thread that it's a rebranded TCL, so maybe I'll give that a shot next, but man it's been a nightmare.

No issues on my end - i use the onn remote - not the TV remote (unless i need to adjust settings.) I just use HDMI-CEC for control not the remotes IR. CEC takes care of my inputs automatically - so i honestly never mess with the inputs - but it does look like the input button cannot be programmed with any available codes on the onn remote for TCL or insignia TVs.

Pairing the remote using the TCL codes worked. Not for the input button, but for everything else. Glad we had this convo!
