B&H might look polished online, but people should do their homework before blindly trusting them. The company has faced multiple discrimination lawsuits over the years, including federal cases involving treatment of Hispanic workers, and they've also had hundreds of BBB complaints filed by customers. On top of that, there have been recurring complaints online about customer service, shipping issues, and questionable promo handling. For a company this big, the pattern is hard to ignore. I'd think twice before giving them my money. (bbb.org)

Yea, the main proposition is that you get the tax savings if you use their card plus those who aren't eligible for education discount now that they've put verification in place.
I was on the fence to drive to a tax free state beforehand to buy it with education discount. But this made it easy for me, trade-off is that I'd have preferred Silver over Black.

3 days ago, just when I was deciding which one is a better deal. The cost increase from supply chain issue might be eating into their margin and they prolly now want to stop the loophole. I can have my friend order it for me, but I'm not going to drive my friend to a tax-free state just to ensure pick-up etc. all goes smoothly.
