Yea, the main proposition is that you get the tax savings if you use their card plus those who aren't eligible for education discount now that they've put verification in place.
I was on the fence to drive to a tax free state beforehand to buy it with education discount. But this made it easy for me, trade-off is that I'd have preferred Silver over Black.

3 days ago, just when I was deciding which one is a better deal. The cost increase from supply chain issue might be eating into their margin and they prolly now want to stop the loophole. I can have my friend order it for me, but I'm not going to drive my friend to a tax-free state just to ensure pick-up etc. all goes smoothly.

I can't speak to th4eir discrimination and treatment of others, but I did buy a CPU + motherboard bundle from them, and it came without the CPU. They had me sign an affidavit and shipped me a new one.

I once received a APC from them that appeared open sold as new and they accepted it back without issue.

Everyone, at every income level who receives a W2 is struggling right now. And it will get worse.
