I love the naming schemes of stuff like this... POWER. POWER. LINEIQ. Can't wait till they start adding AI in!

Next year it will be POWER PRO Ego POWER AI+++++ 56Vx64 PRO POWER POWERLOAD AI WITH LINE AI PRO """POWER"""

Can someone explain in real-world usage terms why would I want this $330 trimmer vs a $170 one from the same brand?

It's called power because it uses power to wind the trimmer line. It was like this for 5+ years before ai was popular everywhere.

Don't buy the line IQ model. I used mine like 4-5 times and the line IQ stopped working and there is no way to manually extend the string, making it useless. I called in and found out that the warranty doesn't cover the head of the trimmer only the shaft, which is crazy.

You can still manually extend the string by bumping it on the ground. I've been using mine for 3 years and it works flawlessly.
