Any drill kit from a major brand for less than $100 is a solid buy right now in my opinion.

Ridgid just announced a new subcompact line of tools today, so I guess the Depot is starting to move out some of the older inventory.

Ridgid announced the NUKE SubCompact line (8 tools/combos w/ rapid chargers) coming July 2026. New lineup is supposed to be compact with full 18V power but I didn't see any specific details on power yet. In that lineup there's a new high speed blower. Expect some good deals on the current subcompact lineup.

$85 for any top brand power tool with 2 batteries and a charger is a steal. It's too good to pass up I'm getting one to keep around the house.

any feedback on how is the hammer drill feature on this? already have a regular drill and corded hammer drill so not sure if it is worth to get a cordless hammer drill.

I bought it a few weeks ago to install shutters on brick and it works great.

Home Depot just announced the (Nuke) line of subcompact drills. They are supposed to be very good if you need a small drill, but they do not offer the same power as their full size counterparts.
